Enable or disable technicians’ ability to raise a fault offline

You can enable or disable technicians' ability to raise a fault offline by configuring the ALLOW_RAISE_FAULT_OFFLINE parameter.

To configure the parameter:

1. Log in to the IFS Cloud as an administrator.
2. Navigate to Aviation Maintenance/Basic Data/Mobile Maintenance Parameters.
3. Click New (+ icon).
4. For Parameter ID, enter ALLOW_RAISE_FAULT_OFFLINE.

5. For Parameter Value, enter one of the following:

   a) Yes – Enables technicians’ ability to raise faults when the device is offline.

   b) No – Disables technicians' ability to raise faults when the device is offline.

6. Click Save.
