Known Limitations

This page outlines the current known limitations associated with IFS Business Reporter. These limitations are documented to ensure transparency and to help users better understand areas where functionality may be restricted or behave differently than expected.

Value Filtering for Parameters of Business Reporter reports in IFS Cloud

In IFS Cloud, when scheduling or ordering BR reports, the list of values (LoV) for parameters does not automatically filter as you type. This can be challenging when dealing with a large number of entries, as it may take time to scroll through and locate the desired value.

This is a known limitation of the IFS reporting framework.

Recommended Approach:

To make selection easier, you can use the Find icon that appears when you click the drop-down arrow in the LoV box.

This opens a search window where you can enter the first few characters of the value, followed by a % (e.g., Cus%), then click Apply or press Enter. This will filter the list to show only matching entries, helping you locate values more efficiently.

We encourage this method to streamline BR report scheduling and ordering and improve the overall user experience.
